1.  A Tailor Shop, somewhere in Sàigòn.

3.  C-47's, the military version of DC-3's.  I believe this was taken at or near Tân Sơn Nhất

4.  A blowup of one of the planes.  I think the number is "AL 520" but I could easily be wrong

5.  The Vietnamese drove some of the weirdest vehicles.  In 1970, I wouldn't have been caught dead driving a 1958 Edsel.  It might be different now.  N.B.:  I recently received an email from someone who says they saw this identical Edsel near Da Nang a year later.

6.  A 1956 Ford. ...

7.  A 1958 Mercury ...

8.  A load of sails. ...

9.  And loads of logs, from who knows where.

10.  Taxis in Sàigòn.  “Quatre chevaux” in loaned French.  There is an ENTIRE website devoted to this vehicle!  (http://www.4CV.com/)
